We are proud to have partnered with Auto Pros Academy as a sponsor of this year’s Girls Garage Day, an inspiring event designed to introduce young women to the exciting world of automotive technology through hands-on learning and mentorship.
As part of our commitment to supporting education and workforce development, we sponsored five student tickets, helping make it possible for more participants to experience this incredible opportunity. In addition to our sponsorship, one of our team members volunteered throughout the event, assisting with setup and helping ensure the day ran smoothly for everyone involved.
The event welcomed 15 enthusiastic students who participated in a variety of interactive learning stations, including:
- Hands-on tool training
- Engine exploration with a full engine display
- Emissions and catalytic converter education
- Real vehicle safety inspections
- Roadside assistance training, including tire changes and jumper cable use
- Team-based challenges and trivia competitions
One of the day’s highlights was an exciting team trivia challenge led by the instructors, testing students on what they learned throughout the event. Congratulations to Flower Horsepower, who earned the title of Top Team of the Day and took home trophies recognizing their outstanding teamwork and knowledge.
Students also had the opportunity to hear from an inspiring panel of industry professionals who shared their career journeys, experiences, and encouragement, helping participants envision future opportunities in the automotive and engineering fields.
